Renewable energy and sensitivity to sustainability issues have many different nuances in the world of fashion. The ethical code of our company is based on the principles of environmental protection, essential elements on which we have based some alternative choices to prioritize a renewable energy.
At Metalservice we have started a path that has led us to support different actions, always with the same goal: to prefer green energy. We have installed a photovoltaic system for the production and self-consumption of electricity (125 KW), and two electric cars charging stations (22KW). This last operation is complemented by the campaign to replace our company fleet with electric cars.
The choice of lighting was also considered according to company values. For this reason we have chosen to install led lights in the company’s indoor and outdoor lighting systems. Heating and cooling systems have also been replaced with new technology, with high efficiency and low consumption.
The production has been implemented with high-performance machines with low consumption and 4.0. technology that replaced the older ones.
There is still a long way to go, but we are certain it is precisely the right one.
